Ann Billingsley, Executive Director
Ann joined the staff of the Hoffberger Family Philanthropies in 2010. Previously she was Senior Program Officer at the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation in Chicago, where she was involved in both the general grant making program and special initiatives, including a five-year initiative to improve student achievement at six public high schools. She served as Executive Director of the Hyde Park School of Dance, a non-profit ballet school serving 400 students on the South Side of Chicago, and held management positions at other non-profit organizations, including The Art Museum Association, the Chicago Historical Society, and Earlham College. As a non-profit consultant, her clients included the University of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, and Neighborhood Housing Services. She has been a board member of the Harper Court Arts Council, Hyde Park Alliance for Arts and Culture, and Chicago Women in Philanthropy, and served on the steering committee of the Campaign to Expand Community Schools in Chicago, and the Literacy Advisory Board for the Illinois Secretary of State.
Ladan Nabet, Program Associate
Ladan provides grants management, program and administrative support for the Hoffberger Foundation. Prior to joining the staff of the Hoffberger Family Philanthropies, Ladan worked in a wide range of fields—from medical research to theater company management and the performing arts. She earned a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York. She is also a licensed acupuncturist practicing in Baltimore.
